evtonomy is part of a UKRI-funded project on citizen-centric AI systems at the University of Southampton. This project is developing novel artificial intelligence (AI) techniques that can help citizen save energy through personalised advice and decision support.

As part of our research, we surveyed over 1,200 electric vehicle drivers in the UK and found that current routing apps do not provide a fully personalised and adaptive experience. To address this, we have developed a new AI-driven app that can learn the preferences of individual electric vehicle drivers and that can adapt to changing circumstances (such as stations that are occupied or out of service).
